¡Luces Vivas! Lights Alive!

Luces Vivas, or Lights Alive, is our free bike light and helmet distribution event. We intentionally set up our stations at intersections in the City of Santa Ana that have recorded high collision rates for bicyclists and pedestrians. By providing these materials directly in the community we create a step towards safety for this population that relies heavily on public and active transportation. Come stop by and receive these materials if you need them!

Santa Ana Active Streets is contracted by the City’s Public Works Traffic Engineering Division to host education and interactive events around traffic safety. Funding for this program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
Luces Vivas es nuestra distribución de luces y cascos gratis! Nos ponemos intencionalmente en los cruces de Santa Ana donde es conocido como areas con altas colisiones para ciclistas y peatones. Estos materiales ayudan a crear un paso más cercano a la seguridad a la población de gente que confia enormamente en transportación pública y activa.
